KodiUK TV Wizard – The hub of Kodiuk.tv and the home of all their official and community builds. The KodiUK TV Wizard has had a huge update and now has sections for:
- Kodi UK TV Builds
- Community Builds
- Maintenance and Tweaks
Details about the Wizard can be found underneath the installation guide:
- Download the KodiUK TV Wizard Zip FIle and save to a location you can easily access from your Kodi device
- Select SYSTEM
- Select Add-Ons
- Select Install from zip file
- Navigate to where you downloaded the zip in the first step and select plugin.program.kodiuktv.zip
- Wait for Add-on enabled notification
KodiUK TV Wizard is now installed and can be accessed via PROGRAMS > Add-Ons > KodiUK TV Wizard from your home screen.
Currently there are 6 builds available through the wizard all of which can be installed by simply selecting the one you want and leaving the wizard to do all the work. There will be more builds added and Matt welcomes people contacting him to have their build added to help grow the community builds available through the add-on. There is also a Facebook group you can join.

The maintenance and tweaks section is great; something that every Kodi user will get use from. In this section you will find:
- General Maintenance & Fixes
- Backup/Restore
- Fresh Start
- Convert Link to Special
In the General Maintenance & Fixes section you will find a wide range of one click fixes that will help tidy up unnecessary files from your Kodi device which should help it run better.
- Clear Cache – Empties your cache
- Clear Add-on Data – This clears the addon_data folder so if you have passwords saved or have changed settings in an add-on it will remove all these changes
- Clear Crash Logs – Every time Kodi crashes a log is created and I bet it has crashed for you a few times. This will remove those
- Clear Textures – Deletes your textures13.db file
- Clear Thumbnails – This will delete all your thumbnail files. If you are having issues with artwork this can help remedy the issue. The thumbnails will repopulate when you next open Kodi
- Clear Packages – Each time you install an add-on a file is kept on your Kodi. This file is kept solely for the reason so that you can rollback to previous versions. But if you have a lot of add-ons and limited disk space then removing them could be necessary
In the Backup/Restore section there is a one click full backup and one click full restore. Unlike the default Kodi backup add-on this will back up everything so you can fully restore in future should anything happen to your build.
Fresh Start allows you to revert Kodi back to its original state; exactly as it was when you first download and install it.
Select the Convert Link to Special section will make the add-on go through all the files in your Kodi directory and change the paths to special://
