UK Car Check is the latest add-on from Metal Kettle. This add-on allows you to check the MOT history and tax status on any UK vehicle from within Kodi. If you have Metal Kettle’s repo installed and are interested in trying it out then grab it from his program add-ons section.
Simply select the make of the car and type in the registration. You can then choose see details of:
- Vehicle make & model
- First registered
- Colour
- Fuel type
- Tax details
- MOT details
This is a 3rd party add-on that is not supported by the Kodi Team. Do not post questions relating to this add-on on the Kodi Forums (forums.kodi.tv). Follow the dev on Twitter for updates
- Open Kodi
- Select SYSTEM > File Manager
- Select Add Source
- Select None
- Type the following EXACTLY http://kodi.metalkettle.co/ and select Done
- Highlight the box underneath Enter a name for this media Source, type mk repo & Select OK
- Go back to your Home Screen
- Select SYSTEM
- Select Add-Ons
- Select Install from zip file
- Select mk repo
- Select repository.metalkettle-x.x.x.zip
- Wait for Add-on enabled notification
- Select Install from repository or Get Add-Ons on Helix
- Select MetalKettles Addon Repository
- Select Program Add-Ons
- Select UK Vehicle Check
- Select Install
- Wait for Add-on enabled notification
UK Vehicle Check is now installed. As usual the add-on can be accessed via VIDEOS > Add-Ons > UK Vehicle Check from your home screen.
