Renegades skins is a new add-on that allows you to install skins to the Renegades TV Guide. The add-on is available through the Renegades repo which most will have installed anyway for the TV Guide but a guide to install it is available below the screenshots of the skins currently available in the add-on. But if you don’t already have Renegades TV Guide installed then use this guide to install it first.
At the time of writing there were 67 skins in all to choose from. The skins consisted of: Sports Teams; TV Shows; Movies; Cars; Music Artists; Video Games and more.
As users of this will already have the Renegades as a source on their Kodi device we can skip adding that and go straight to adding the skins
- Open Kodi
- Select SYSTEM
- Select Add-Ons
- Select Install from zip file
- Select renegadestv
- Select renegades-skin.zip
- Wait for Add-on Enabled notification
- Go back to your Home Screen and select PROGRAMS or APPS
- Select Renegades Skins
- You now have a list of all the available skins along with who created them
- Scroll through the list and you can see the background changes. This shows you how the skin will look on the guide. There is also a thumbnail at the side too. Select a skin you like the look of
- The skin will download and you will have a message telling you how to activate the skin. Select OK
- Go back to your PROGRAM Add-Ons
- Highlight – DO NOT SELECT – Renegades TV Guide
- Open the Context Menu & select Add-On Settings
- Select Appearance
- Select Guide Theme
- Keep selecting in the Guide Theme section until the name of the skin you want use shows up
- Select OK so your changes are saved
- Go back to your PROGRAM Add-Ons & select Renegades TV
- Your skin will now be activated
