FileLinked, for those who don’t know, is an easy way to install applications on your Android device. As the Nvidia SHield is becoming more and more popular I thought I would share a quick and easy guide on installing FileLinked on your Shield.
Once FileLinked is installed you will need codes to install any application you may be interested and you will see guides for them start appearing on my site so keep an eye out for them as I will be adding them regularly from now on.
- Turn on your Shield
- Open the Play Store
- Click on the Search Icon
- Type Down in the Search Field and then click on the next icon in the keyboard
- Select the Downloader Application
- Select Install
- Once it has installed select Open
- Downloader will ask for permission to access files on yor device. You must allow this for it to install applications
- A quick guide will now appear. Click OK
- Now type get.filelinked.com in the search field and then click on the next arrow
- You shold now see a Settings popup telling you that unknown apps are not allowed from this source. Click on Settings
- A sidedrawer will now appear. Click on Downloader and allow it access
- You will now be taken back to Downloader. Click on Install. FileLinked will now download
- Next click on Install
- Now click on Done
FileLinked is now instralled. It will be located in your App Drawer which yo can access from the Home Screen of your Shield by clicking on the Apps icon located at the top left of your screen.
